It’s fall y’all!

Monday –

  1. Glue “Sensory Language Anchor Charts” in our binders
  2. “Write Time” – Students will choose a topic and describe their choice in detail with adjectives and sensory language.

HW –Draw a monster (not too detailed, or it won’t work). Due Thursday!

Tuesday –

  1. RACE Writing practice –

R- Restate the question

A-Answer the question

C-Cite the evidence

E-Explain your answer

Wednesday – 

  1. Begin “Fall Sensory Poem” – Prewriting & drafting
  2. Edit with peers/Lobue when done with “sloppy copy”

HW –Draw a monster (not too detailed, or it won’t work). Due Thursday!

Thursday– 

  1. Finish “Fall Sensory Poem” – Final draft published
  2. “Monster Drawing Activity” with a partner

HW –Enjoy being a kid! Make memories; put down your phone!

Friday-

  1. Character Lesson – Have the Courage to be Yourself
  2. Vocabulary practice
  3. Finish “Monster Drawing Activity” with a partner if you haven’t
