Note that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are early release days (release at 12:15).

Mid Term Exam Schedule

Monday – 

  • Semester exam review – students can review any past vocabulary on Quizlet for the semester exam

Tuesday – Exams (periods 4 and 5)

Wednesday – Exams (periods 1, 2, and 6)

Thursday – Exams (periods 3, 7 and 8)

Friday, December 21 begins our winter break (NO SCHOOL)

Tuesday – SEPTEMBER 11…WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!

  • Watch Flocabulary’s 9/11 video **Discuss theme and events of this day in history
  • In partners, complete “Synonym and Antonym Match”
  • See video of heroes and discuss what it means to be a HERO

Lesson Plans for the Week of 8/27-8/31

We have almost 100% of our parents on Class Dojo now. Way to go!  Thank you. Be sure and download the app so you can see your child’s daily reports and messages. Feel free to use this to send a personal message to me if you have any questions or concerns. If you’re not signed up, ask your child for the form with his/her personal code so you can get signed up. This is how I will be communicating frequently with parents. 

Monday –

**We will be starting a wonderful novel, Out of My Mind this week. This is a book about an eleven-year-old girl with cerebral palsy who cannot speak. Throughout the book, she overcomes and amazes her readers with her determination and strength. Melody is certainly an unforgettable character.

  • Introduce Sharon Draper (author of our novel)
  • Show Out of My Mind Trailer
  • Begin Cerebral Palsy Webquest
