Lesson Plans for the Week of April 22-26

Your child should be adding finishing touches to his/her presentation and visual:/videos/tri board/poster/model, etc. and speech. Presentations are next week. Please have your child present the entire presentation for you and give constructive feedback. Please sign the letter (stating you have seen it), and return the bottom portion of this letter by this Thursday, April 25.

  • Discuss “Composting” & Charlie Joe’s reading passages (grades are coming home today so ask to see them).

  • Present Genius Hour presentation for guardian and return note stating they have seen it.

  • Genius Hour- final details, get students the day they will present next week

Parents, we are starting Genius Hour this Monday. Every week, students will have time to research, and delve into, something they are passionate about. Important Dates to Mark on your Calendar:

**Please make EVERY effort to have your child at school on these days.

Our students are loving Max. Best Friend. Hero. Marine. We don’t ever want to stop reading. We have also watched several videos of how these amazing military dogs have saved the lives of many soldiers. We owe these “unsung heroes” many thanks!

  • Finish analyzing the mid-term exam (students reviewed their papers to see which questions they missed). **For any missed questions, students justified the correct answer, and we discussed why they missed the question (super conversations are happening)!
