  • Begin Diary Entry from Melody (the main character’s) point of view

Wednesday- 

  • Diary Entry from Melody’s point of view (revise/edit)

HW: Watch “Subject/Predicate” Flocabulary video and complete the QUIZ for a grade (due Friday).

Thursday-

  • Diary Entry from Melody’s point of view (final draft)

Friday –“Subject/Predicate” Flocabulary video and quiz due TODAY

Lesson Plans for the Week of 10/21-10/25

It’s SO good to be back after being out for 6 weeks. Thank you for all the sweets notes, comments, and prayers during my recovery from neck surgery. I appreciate all of you!

Tuesday –

  • It’s good to be back!
  • Watch Mood video (discuss words that create mood)
  • Discuss (Out of my Mind) and chapters read so far

Wednesday-

  • Read “Monkey’s Paw” Scope 
  • Write “mood words” in notebooks

Thursday- 

  • Watch short film & discuss similarities/differences to the play
  • Write sentences that contain mood

Friday –

  • Vocabulary Activity
