Welcome Back and Happy New Year!

We are excited about our new novel. Students will learn on Monday that we will be reading Max Best Friend. Hero. Marine  **I can’t wait to see the smiles!

Monday –

  • Watch Flocabulary’s “Year in Review”
  • Introduce new novel, Max, and watch a short video “Dogs of War”
  • Begin Military Dogs web quest with partner
  • Hand out new vocabulary (test is on Thursday, January 17)
  • Study vocabulary – click HERE to practice vocabulary with flashcards and games (test on Thursday, January 17)

HW: Vocabulary.com assignment (due Wednesday and this IS a grade)

Tuesday –

  • Finish web quest with partner
  • Begin Max Best Friend. Hero. Marine

Wednesday-

  • Lesson and practice with interpreting information from maps, charts, graphs timelines, tables, and diagrams

  • Analyze the mid-term exam (students will justify answers)
