Performance Reading 2014-2015

Many students chose to recently participate in our DRAMATIC DRAMA challenge. Students had to create a skit using the items provided in a brown paper bag. They also had to include the elements of the plot diagram. Students filled out a page to help guide them and then performed their VERY OWN skit. Proud of these superstars!

These students did a fabulous job using the items provided in their brown bag to create their very own skit. Very creative, and I can tell they had a great time working on, and performing, this for their classmates. Bravo!


So how did a group of students choose to include bubbles, sunscreen, balloon, sunglasses, and a seashell in a skit? Check this out! Way to go! Did they know the elements of the plot diagram? You betcha!

 

Last week, our students performed Cinderella Bigfoot written by Mike Thayler (scripted by Jill Jaquet). Our goal was fluency, inflection, voice level, and speaking in front of an audience. Way to go, Jace, Reese, Sam, Randy, Cade, Navaeh, Taylor, Colton, and Sidney. Proud of you!

Another stupendous performance for you to watch and enjoy. Proud of these kiddos for the job they did on this Reader’s Theater. Way to go, superstars!
