MEET MRS. LOBUE

This will be my 10th year to teach in White Oak and my 27th year in education. I’ve taught third, fifth, and sixth grades in public schools and have tutored children in K-10.

My last name is pronounced La-BOO, but most of my students just call me Mrs. Boo (which makes it much easier).  I grew up in Longview and later met my husband, Mitchell, at Kilgore College. We’ve been married for 28 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in English.  I love teaching and am certain that it’s my calling. I’m looking forward to being your child’s writing teacher!

We have a fifteen-year-old daughter who will be entering WO High School this year.

I am an avid animal lover. We have two cats we adopted (Laney and Blizzard).  I also love music, reading, gardening, organizing, being at the lake, and spending time with my family and friends. In my free time, I teach online via Outschool to children around the world. The more teaching, the better!

I’m looking forward to a wonderful year together!

From the Leader of Boo’s Crew,

   Mrs. Lobue

  1. hi this is austin and can me and devin do a presentation some time after spring break between 2:47 and 3:32??

    1. Austin,
It’s SO great to hear from you. I miss having you in my class. I hope you got my email I sent about a week ago. I’d LOVE to have you and Austin present. However, Jordan Crum had already contacted me to present, and she is coming. That is the Friday before we take STAAR, or I’d let everyone come in and present. I just can’t give up more than 20 minutes (Jordan is taking 20 minutes) with STAAR so close. Thanks for understanding.

If you can wait and present after STAAR, you’re more than welcome to come. Let me know. We take STAAR on March 28 and March 29.

P.S. Please let me know you got this message.

Blessings and always keep in touch,
      Mrs. Lobue (Mrs. Boo)

    1. Joseph,
It’s so good to hear from you. I hope you are doing well. I still remember having you in 5th grade like it was yesterday. Those were great times in the classroom. Tell your incredible family hello for me and keep in touch! Mrs. Boo
