On this day we learned about: the history of juggling, goats, orcas, beekeeping, the evolution of cars from the 70’s to now, the history of vacuums, sarcoma cancer, Parvo, Australian Shepherds, Fortnite, the CIA, pandas, hedgehogs, wolves, cardiology, volcanoes, what it takes to make it to the NBA, anthropomorphism, progeria, the characteristics of a good friend, and the process it takes to train a guide dog. What a fun day of learning!

Day 2 Genius Hour Video

On this day, we learned about: German Shepherds, hot dogs, the history of basketball and volleyball, coding, the T Rex and dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period, sugar gliders, constellations, stop motion videos, the job of a veterinarian, neonatal nursing, how to take care of rabbits in FFA, the history of braids, magic and saw some cool tricks, birthday celebrations in other countries, what it’s like to work with special needs adults, the history of gaming and the Girl Scouts, wolves and if we can earn their trust, and how to train to become a professional dancer.

Genius Hour -Day 1 VIDEO

I’m so proud of Day 1’s experts. Way to show what you know!

On this day, we had two dogs to visit us and got to watch some tricks. We also learned about trophy hunting, the 3 most dangerous dog breeds, the Air Force, taekwondo,FFA, the role of a marine biologist, the history of the butterfly knife, volleyball and TV, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Taj Mahal, how to help our local animal shelter, therapy dogs, got homemade dog treats for our furry friends, the role of therapists and got samples of essential oils, the history of comedy, the Bermuda Triangle, Argentina, and we learned that athleticism is definitely genetic.

Genius Hour- Day 2

Genius Hour Day 2 was amazing! We had another day of powerful presentations and loads of learning!

Genius Hour -Day 1

Wow! Genius Hour (Day 1) presentations were amazing! We had two dogs to visit us and got to watch some tricks.
